coilover suggestions

Hey guys im upgrading to coilovers suspension in the near future im on eibach lowering springs now but its not low enough for me. Once i get my taxes im going to upgrade and want a good name brand. I was thinking bc coilovers but there like 1000$ i could probably get them used on the forums from someone. I was also thinking ksport the seem pretty good also and there 250$ cheaper then the bc i know a lot of people on here are on coils so i want to get other peoples opinions first before i buy

Yes, I have them and they are amazing!!! I've never tried BC or D2's, but as far as the Tein's go, they utilize stock strut mounts, etc. which helps with durability and in terms of quietness. I've heard good things about BC, people on this forum typically go with the BC's or Teins; however, D2's are a little lower quality kinda like Ksports to my understanding. With the Tein's, even though they're only $634 or whatever, after you buy the strut mounts and other components, it'll run you about $1k (or you could utilize all of the components needed from your stock strut assembly instead of buying new stuff and save yourself the $350). Anyways, I've had my Tein's on for almost a year now and haven't had any problems yet.

Exactly. That's only for the Tein's though. Any of the other coilovers like BC, JIC, D2, and KSport don't require any extra stuff.

Just get Tein SA and be done with it!!! I have had K-Sports and they are junk. Tein SA and JIC Magic are the only way to go. Tein uses the stock top hats, which is why they ride the best

For the fronts you'll need: spring seat bearing, strut mount bracket, strut mount, and strut mount spacer. For the rears: strut mount, seal, and washer. You'll need two of everything. Here's links to the parts pages with diagrams of the suspension: http://www.courtesyparts.com/auto-pa...uspension-scat

I'm a cheap skate and have lucked out so far on the ebay ones. CX Sport and Nexen. I like the CX Sport better (firmer and have camber plates). Both ride smooth on the highway, but allow no body roll and don't bounce. For what I paid (I think 350 used and 600), they're a steal. I doubt either are sold, now...and am awaiting ebay flamage
