6 speed limp mode?

Yesterday when I was learning how to drive my 6 speed I stalled a few times. After I was finished my brother couldn't shift easily and the transmission was shuddering. We pulled over for 5 minutes and all was well after that. Was that limp mode or did I overheat the tranny?

That was not limp mode. Limp mode won't let the engine rev over 2400 rpm and the power is way down, but it runs smooth.

What you may have done is over-heated the clutch.

Oh alright thanks. Do you think that would mean I need to replace the clutch? It runs smoothly now.

If it's working fine now don't worry about it.
