Removing stock shift knob????

Removing stock shift ****????
I was trying to remove the stock shift **** to install my Razo Gun Grip....I got to the point where i took the 2 screws off that are on the shift ****...but i have no clue how to take off the shift ****....i looked on other instructions but i think they were for a 4th gen. I was wondering if anyone could help me out....and i was wondering if anyone knows what i do after removing it....

to remove the stock shift **** you also need to get under the shifter panel to remove the O/D wires from the harness, your are going to have to remove the center console and get those wires, but as for those two screws that should be it.

well on the each side of the center console you should have 6 screws
1 on each side by the foot-well and 2 on each side by the seats next to the seatbelt release
you will also have one screw inside your storage compartment on the bottom underneath that insert in the compartment
the last screw should be in the ash tray
after doing that you can start moving it around and it should just pop out completely since it is just one piece
you may have to move the shifter from P to 1 to help you remove the center completely, you will know when to do this
if you need pics on how to do it let me know and when i get sometime ill try to do it for you
