Maxima 01 engine surge while going low speed
Good evening everyone i m new here i just recently purchased a maxima 01. The day i got it the car would surge while in park I changed the iac and the ecu. That problem stopped. I got an oil change and a tune up after i did that the gas pedal would get stuck if i m at a red light or too long at a stop sign i would have to tap a little hard on the pedal to go down. Now when i drive at the speed limit 25 miles the engine would surge high passed 2000rpms and i hear a faint hissing sound under the hood. Has anyone had any similar problems with this car? I could really use some suggestions so when i take it to the mechanic he can check for me thank you

your symptoms including the hissing is a text book vacuum leak you can check this by getting a bottle of water and slowly pour it around where the hissing is coming from if your engine changes note you know where your vacuum leak is it is probably a loose or broken hose easily replaced. I have had a lot of issues with my maxima I had to replace intake gaskets and all the hoses because of several vacuum leaks.
