Sunroof issue
Hello all. Im new here as well am I new to my maxima. its a 2001 5 speed SE. Ive had it for a couple of months and did a few things to it and love it. Only problem is the sunroof doesnt work...at all. I replaced the switches and nothing changed. Please helpp
Please get in the habit of telling us what year car you have. They are not 100% identical.
Check 2 fuses in the fuse panel to the left of the steering column. Fuse # 10 top row 2nd from right end. Fuse # 13 middle row 2nd from left end. Since these fuses also power other things as well as the sun roof, they may be OK.
Check for 12 volts on the motor itself. It is the white/red stripe wire in pin 1.
If all the fuses are good and you have 12 volts on the motor, then you probably have a bad motor. It could be switches, but you have changed those.
