Engine covers

so I snapped the head off the bolt that holds the undercover to the car.
this was back in 14' I did this.
I guess I could drill it out and put a plastic push pin in? What are my options?

Drill that sucker out. Start with a small bit and work your way up, but stop short of full size so that the threads won't get damaged. Once you drill it and get through 85% to 90% of the diameter, it will disintegrate and fall out. Or it will be so weak that you could hit it with heat or some WD-40 and it will no longer be stuck and will un-thread itself.

Thanks what your explaining is exactly what I tried to do around the other side.
But it never came out as planned. I wound up shearing off the threads flush and now left with just an 8mm hole. 8mm I think is what it is.
I primed the the steel so it wont rust after replacin the W/P.
Could I just get away with a push pin? I think the pins with the phillips head drive located within the wheel wells will snap in.

You could always use rivet nuts.

Sure, one of those push pins would probably do the job. Or you can drill it out completely, and re-thread to the next size up using a cheap tap and die set from Harbor Freight.

Heres the other side. I sheared off the threaded nut welded on with a dremel.
Yesterday I put a plastic push pin in the hole. Done deal.
