350z/370z brake upgrade. Great deal on EBC/Akebono combo

So I bought a new gen 5.5 and i did the 6th gen brakes on my last one... I want to do the g35/350z dual piston calipers this time instead of the single piston. My question is there are two different two piston calipers used on the 06 and up g35's and the only difference in the part number is either a letter a or b at the end. Will either one work they even use the same pad. Im looking for the calipers that will bolt right on with some grinding to the 12.6" rotors. I'm sure one of you knows the answer to this!

*UPDATE BELOW*

Pics of both calipers

The top two pictures are of the calipers with the model ending in "A" and the bottom two pictures are model number ending in "B"

Test fit it! See if you can mount the dual piston caliper on the 6th Gen Torque member? the 6th Gen torque member has the proper stand off to clear the 12.6" rotors and the pictured torque member looks shorter to me! Again do a test fit...You won't have to break open any brake lines to do this!

so these are ferrous metal calipers? i heard of swapping the 300zx calipers they are lighter and dual pistons but, they flex since they are aluminum or something along those lines.

would be cool to upgrade the calipers AND keep the stock 16s all sleeper like. what does 2 smaller pistons offer over 1 bigger piston? surface area? does it use wider pads?

I believe I figured it out... Even though the calipers themselves are the same the mounting brackets are different. The top calipers or the "A" Model number is from the earlier 350z's/g35's where as the other "B" Model bracket it for the later g37/370z's q50 q70 etc. And will be a direct bolt on for the 89 thru 08 maximas.

I know this is very old but in case this helps anyone it ended up being the bracket with the narrower mounting holes. Bolted right up to existing spot on knuckle but i did have to decrease the OD of the rotors by 6mm (3mm in from the edge of rotor) I believe cant remember exactly. I ended up getting ebc drilled and dimpled rotors for 73% off on pep boys website ended up being around 40 each and the calipers both ordered off eBay rebuilt with brackets for 100 for both. Used akebono pads but the "sport" pads which are slightly different from standards. Paid $70 for those. Found a machine shop less than a half mile from me turned the diameter down on the rotors for $25. So g37 brakes with the best pad and rotor combo ive ever used for under $300. Stops on a time and I have abused them hard and never once had fade or even smelled them.

EBC 3GD Series Dimpled and Slotted Sport Rotors: $141.49

TOTAL PRICE: $325.94

These are the current prices which have gone up slightly on the calipers as rotors since I ordered everything but the rotors are still %50 off. Also I did order a set of ebc yellow stuff pads for both front and rear which work well but the akebono performance premiums are AWESOME. NO fade NO noise NO dust and the combo with the GD3 rotors is amazing. They behave far better than any other pad as rotor combo I have tried. Feel is great pedal travel is very minimal and they are not touchy at all very easy to modulate braking input. This is just what worked for me. The guy who turned my rotors for me also will make a bracket to bolt the 350z Brembo 4 piston calipers or the 370z Akebono 4 piston calipers for $25. Then I can run the larger 14" (13.96) front rotors from the 370z.

Hope someone can use my experience with these brakes can't wait to try the Nismo 370 version!
