intake manifold gasket. re-usable?

2002 maxima. I just removed the upper intake plenum/manifold to replace spark plugs and coils. The gasket looks like it is in good condition. Is this gasket reusable, or does it need to be replaced every time?

Trying to save $30 isn't worth having to take the engine apart a second time. Replace it.

If its been replaced recently, or is still nice and rubbery and pliable - its still good. If its never been replaced i would just replace it to be sure. ive pulled my manifold countless times and only the first time i replaced the gasket.

I cant imagine replacing that thing every time i take it off. Ive probably removed and reinstalled that plenum 3 times this last month trying to diagnose a misfire.

well that's news to me, i've never heard of having to take it off so often. i think it's assumed a 1 time install, assuming you have the original from 14 years ago and are taking the intake off for the first time. some gaskets also get thinner when torqed down.

Reuse, RTV, or both. Gaskets are a waste of money. It only takes the tiniest amount of RTV to seal **** like this, so even if you remove the plenum, again, it's only a couple mins to clean it up.

Or when you're at the junkyard get another gasket and double em up, problem solved for free, and no work for you bums.
