Trunk latch prob, alarm goes off rambunctiously
Hello,
So my Maxima trunk has always kinda looked like it was open slightly since I bought it, but I've never had any problems until recently. My dash indicator light shows that my trunk is open until I go 80 mph and the wind pushes it down and dash indicator turns off. I can also force it down some with my hand and the light indicator will disappear. The problem is I can't lock my driver door because the alarm engages and then of course that horn is honking rambunctiously.
I looked at the latch, but I'm not sure if there is some kind of adjustment that I could tweak and I'm not really sure where to start. Has anyone had this issue and or any advice on what can be done.. I don't even know where the sensor is.. I've looked, but have no idea..
Any idea's, I'd like to keep the alarm and fix the sensor/latch if possible.
