T'll tell you the 07 G35 X one i have is simple. Power wire, neutral wire, and a information wire.
It has compass ,Auto dimming, and 3 home link buttons. BTW it's auto dimming.
This mirror is huge i'am gonna try to use it.
Just three wires . Seems a better mirror than I30 but i'll take a look at it in a week or two.
I swapped mine with a 09 Rougue backup camera mirror. Has the screen built in with auto dimmer. Ran the camera through the plastic license plate holder/trim in the trunk. It only took about an hour and a half.
I didn't pay that much for mine but same thing. It was worth it. I wanted a camera without a in dash screen.

i'll be getting a double din touch screen with reverse cam, i already have home link buttons in my visor. on a few occasions i have needed the compass since the compass between my ears has been dropped a few times. if i figure out how to make the i30 mirror work i'll post back here.

JustSJust curious. home link is just a garage door opener? Do all 3 home.link buttons work after swapping in to a 5th a gen? Also I'm guessing these mirrors have their own compass inside?
