Take a pic of the front of the intake manifold (big black thing)so i can show you where it goes. It's for the speed sensitive switch on the power steering .
Goes too a metal hard tube on the left. I'll show you when you get a pic of there.
Here is a pic of the intake manifold. Although i may be female, im not completely dumbfounded when it comes to cars. Im not mechanically inclined, either. Lol. U may have to turn pic sideways to get the full view, but here it is
Ok. I will look in that area and see if anything appears to be unhooked or missing. I didnt see anything missing earlier from that area, but i will keep u informed. Thank you.

It's that hose with the red arrow, i should have used i different color
It's the hose that's plugged into the top metal tube that goes across the intake, below the throttle cable bracket. In your pic., it looks like it's hanging over the red taped up wire harness. Here's my engine bay for reference.
My 2000 nissan maxima 3.0l v6 has 300,000 miles on her, and she is now still going strong!!! Thanks for all the help
OK that's exactly the hose that i was pointing to. So i am confused. Remember i said it goes to the hard line for the Power steering . that is indeed the hose.
Thank u guys. I difnt even see the hose that was disconnected till he posted the pic of his engine. Lol. Thank u all!!!! It is now fixed!!! I hope it didnt mess anything up being unhooked
