Heater Core/Evaporator Core Help

2000 Maxima GLE, 3.0, Need to replace the Heater Core, but I've read that the evaporator core needs to come out first. I've gotten all the bolts pulled from the evaporator core itself, but I can't seem to get the A/C lines disconnected from the firewall. I've seen the videos, but they're all for the 4th gen, and the 5th gen has a different connection at the firewall. I believe it's the Thermal Expansion Valve (?) that I'm stuck at, and it says to "Disconnect the two refrigerant lines from the engine compartment", can't figure out how to achieve that. Any advice helps. Thanks.

The Service guide where I've gotten this far from.

One, easy to access, 10mm bolt and clamp secures your lines to the TXV on the firewall side. Probably the easiest step in your process.

Thanks for the reply. I've gotten the bolt, but there is a clamp? This is where I've been stuck. How to remove the clamp?

You're done. Just pull. The clamp is welded to the suction line. You'll understand when you start pulling/wiggling it out.
