Hello everyone I'm new to posting on the forums here but I'm no stranger to them as I've been reading up on almost every mod I possibly plan on doing. But one I'm specifically interested in doing is the I30 cluster in the 02 Maxima. It has the simplicity I love of the Max with the nice even brightness and needles of the I35. I know it's much easier to toss in the I35 cluster and there already a few guides to get that done but that's not really what I want. So does anyone have info or some insight on how to do this??

I thought the i30 was the same as the Max. Just different lighting?

Somewhat. The layout is the same but the besel on the gauges is different as well as some slight font differences as well as the lighting. But I like the overall package and would want that one specifically

The signals read by the cluster are different between 3.0 and 3.5.

I figured that much. But would there be any sort of work around for that?

Short answer: no.
Long answer: with both cars, an oscilloscope, arduino, and time; yes.
