Is your battery charging? Could be your alternator ,check it with multi meter.

With the car on or off? With it on it should be higher than 12.65 .

And the alternator doesn't just go bad it slowly stops working. People just think that because they wait till it 100% quits.

Unless the VRM just pops. But, yeah, usually it's a slow degrade. One of mine **** the bed instantly in 100 degree heat. When you see it dipping into 13s, it's probably not gonna last too much longer.

Battery trouble indicator + brake trouble indicator = failing alternator (typically).

So true, Its is the alternator 100%. The same thing happened to my car, The brake and battery light came on, I Ignored it at first because it went back off, It came on a 2nd time (about 3 weeks later) and it wouldn't accelerate past 10 mph, I turned it off to restart, and it wouldn't start back up. I got a boost, and it started fine along with the brake and battery light going away again. This time it stayed off, and drove fine for an entire year, but then started the same issue .. This time I drove somewhere safe instead of turning the car off, and finally had the alternator and belt changed(600$). It may be my android phone that caused this, since the brake and battery light came on the first time right after using the cig lighter to charge my phone which had a malfunctioning battery.

100% this. It was obviously the android phone that's caused all of your problems.
