Mass air flow keeps going out

I have a 2000 Nissan maxima gle with a 3.0. Built in 03/00.
Has anyone had problems with this happening to them?
I'm looking anywhere for answers. My father says it's a cracked upper intake manifold causing the problem.

How do you know your MAF is going out? Is it throwing a code?

Hum...can you provide just a little more information?

What is your Maxima doing?

I can assure you that at least with my 2000 Maxima GLE, absolutely ZERO Codes came up and it was the MAS!

You can see what I did to fix my issues here and I never suspected the MAS!

It kept throwing a code for the MAS and wouldn't go over 2400 rpms. I changed it one time with a brand new one and it didn't even last a day, it went back to doing the same thing again. I was just sitting there and it stalled out and died.

Im new here but do driviability daily at work for the last 30 years, it's a bit harder to check, there could be a issue with the harness or connector affecting signal/ground or pwr to the sensor.
