Brake light

I started my car yesterday and now the brake light will not go off. Yes i released the emergency brake, i shut the car off and waited then startedup again. What should I do?

Pull and check fuse.

Top off your brake fluid. If the light stays on after the e-brake is released, it's telling you the level is low. Reading the owners manual is not a bad idea at this time either.
