Skidding like no abs
03 GLE. Had to slam on the brakes on wet pavement today. I was skidding like Grandpa's old Chevy. I was expecting the vibration of abs. But it didn't happen. No codes no pending codes. Brakes are only a couple months old. Rotors in the past year. Why would they lock up like that and not pulse? If I had like traction control or something turned off it would eliminate on the dash right?

Ok. Not the tires. When I first bought the car used it was awful in the snow and just would not grip. After switching to the Continental All Seasons it was like a totally different experience. The only problem I have had so far related to the ABS was with a sensor that had to be replaced but otherwise it is still working. Last year I did hit an ice patch and it kicked in briefly.
