A Squished B-Pipe?

Hi, all
Changing oil the other day I've noticed that the pipe between the cat and the muffler is "squished" in one place. Is it normal? Has anyone else noticed smth like that?
Thanks

WSP should have some updates to their site next week regarding the b-pipe. Should be ready for shipping soon from what I understand?

Everyone seems to be dodging the "performance gains" question on this B-pipe issue… are we only talking about 1-2 HP here? Or something more noticeable?

No dyno proof as of yet. You will need an intake an y-pipe to get the most out of it though.

I say minimal gains. People with whole catbacks only gained a few HP, should be the same for the b.

I would get one after an intake and Y.

With the B pipe does it basicly function the same as a catback minus the aftermarket muffler?

Yeas only minimum gains will be acquired, but do understand you will alot more on the top end. Reducing back pressue of that amount will give you upto 5hp on the top end. You might see a loss on the low end since you will lose back pressure. But this whole deal about backpressure is only a situation if you have a custom exhaust and a Ypipe. If you retain stock Ypipe, backpressure is not too much to be a concern of.

Back pressure does not matter, that's just a old mith. People say to large of a pipe will reduce back pressure, in reality to large of a pipe will produce terbulance which slows down the speed of the exhaust and in return the engine will make less HP. You guy's can keep your back pressure, I would much rather a nice smooth flowing exhaust with no back pressure .
