Engine is cranking but its not starting

2002 MAXIMA SE
Okay so where do i start I recently replaced my valve cover gasket because of an oil leak (2qrts within 2 weeks gone) and when i was done cleaning off the valve cover and applying new gasket seal i was screwing the 10 bolts around the valve cover and ..
two bolts snapped. So i was spending all day trying to tap into the bolts, I finally was able to get into one but the other one i just drilled through it because it was super stuck in there. Fast forward a little bit, got both bolts out and then come to find out when i was using the drill to try and tap into the broken bolts the drill was rubbing on my main electrical wiring branch located right above the valve cover. So it ate through 3 wires. I slowly cut open the bunch of wires, and they were one of my crankshaft sensors. I used a butt connecter to re attach the wires and i thought the car would start but it didn't. Im thinking it could be my spark plugs but i have yet to test my spark plugs for spark.

What do you think the problem is?

make sure no oil is inside the connectors for the cam position sensors.

I tried almost everything from rechecking the sensors to starter fluid and nothings helping it turn on. Just keeps cranking. Cleaned my cams too

Remove the butt connector and solder the crankshaft sensor wires. There is a good chance that the connection isn't good and the ECU isn't getting the right signal from the sensor.

Well, it could be your crankshaft sensor, as suggested.
However there are other possibilities: It could be that the ENG CONT1 fuse (in Fusible Link and Fuse Box) is blown. Check it out. Is the red security light ON when cranking? (if so, it's a NATS problem).

checked my Eng cont1 it wasnt blown, then checked my Cont2 and it was blown. I had a little hope as to why its not starting but no success. Changed my spark plugs and im thinkin of letting a professional look at it. I really dont know. Checked my fuel pump fuses too and they were fine
