4 SP automatic transmission

I had a broken front engine mount and went to accelerate and the whole engine jumped and bumped resulting in disengaging my tranny somehow and the shifter will move into gear selection up to the outside of tranny , buts it's as if it's disconnected from inside!
Help on any input as to how to check to see if it's something minimal or not!?

Replace the bad engine mount and then make sure that the transmission selector switch is working correctly. It is mounted to the transmission.
