I've been having a problem with oil leaking for a while now and just got around to getting a UV dye kit to find where it is leaking from. I thought it was the oil pan but unfortunately its not. I waited until it was dark and shined a UV light on it. It looks like its coming from the front main seal. Just wanted some conformation before I start taking things off lol.
Hard to tell from the pics but I think you’re talking about the crankshaft seal. Just had mine replaced. Lasted 20 yrs. If so, important to make sure the pulley is still in good shape. Inexpensive gasket, $200 labor. Might replace your main belt while you’re in there.
my first guess would be the half moon seals on the end of the oil pan. those seals are notorious for leaking. when I first got my car I thought I had a rear main seal leak and it ended up being the half moon seals. those things can easily mislead you to thinking you have a rear main or front crank seal.

absolutely this. in over 20 years of dealing with these ive never seen a front or rear seal leak that wasnt damaged by improper repair. upper oil pan seals? for sure. they shrink, get hard, and crack.
pull the crank pulley and take a close look at the upper seal. takes all of 5 minutes.
