Opti Blue Xenon Super White Bulbs

I've just purchased these headlight and foglight bulbs for my 2000 SE, but have found out that these bulbs may run too hot.
My question is:
Have anyone installed/used these bulbs before and are they safe to use in the Maxima?
I cannot tell if their quoted wattage output is real output or percieved light output.
