sure...

it's OT... but it's good OT. Don't we all want alittle something to rib toyota/lexus owners with? Tomorrow, when that hag gets the last cup of coffee as I'm standing there, I can say "oh, I heard about those problems with the lexus engines, sorry to hear that for ya"

yeah, I got a case of the Mondays® bish!

Sorry to hear about your mom's car.

My family has long been Toyota loyalists. They've had an 85, 90, and now a 98 and 00 Camry. The 98 and 00 both have the 5SFE Inline-4 engine (couldn't convince them to get the 1MZ-FE V6 ) but thanks for posting this up. I forwarded them the article so they'll be aware of it.

Hope it turns out well on your Mom's Camry

1.6 million Jeep Grand Cherokees between 93 and 98 are being recalled. 3 of my friends need to take theirs in... Go Chrysler!

This tells you something...

As the car manuf. try to push the engines to be more efficient, in this case raising the operating temp. of the combustion chamber to achieve a 100% fuel burn, regular oil can't handle it! So, one more arguement as to why to use full synthetic oil.
