1. Has any one contemplated 19" wheels. I see that a 235/35/19 would be necessary. or a 245/35/19. just for looks of course.
2. has anyone installed a pair of coilovers on a 5thG MAX?

then my logic kicked in...
#1) replacing tires would be EXPENSIVE. $150 more per tire than 18".

#2) rims are also alot more expensive.

#3) bad for performance (handling & acceleration).

I ended up getting 18" Racing Hart CP-10's cuz the price was very reasonable and they're very light...i can also replace my tires for $150 each...as opposed to about $250+ each for 19".

 

I also considered 19 inch rims/tires too but decided on 18 inch konig tantrums wrapped with dunlop 235/40 18 and am very happy with looks and perf. Hope it works out!

 

I've been looking into getting 19" wheels. The downside is the price!!! My problem is that I want to get a 3 piece wheel. An 18" 3 piece on a car looks like 17" rims. Good 19" 3 piece wheels run about $650 - $900 each, plus $250 per tire. So we'll see. The 2k max look like a big car so 19" would look perfect on them. What type of wheels are you looking at? 1 piece, 2 piece or 3 piece? I also happen to think that wheels make the car....
