Q45 Side Mirrors..

I saw one today, those mirrors look GREAT. Does anyone think there's a way to put those on the 2K2 Maxx... The color codes are the same for the Infinity's according to the dealer.... They have the "M3" like blinking light ....

Those mirrors will cost you a arm and leg new. There probably about $300+ each .

Any your point is?

People are paying $1000+ for the 2K2 HIDs, so why not.

FIRST Step...

The FIRST Step is to find out if they will physically fit.
Someone needs to go by an Infiniti dealership to eyeball the size and shape to see if the housing on the door of the Q45 will fit a Maxima. Somehow I doubt it.

The SECOND Step is to obtain one from a parts guy.
If Dave B. can get Infiniti parts he might buy one and let us try it out to see if it fits FOR SURE.

If it does, I can figure out the wiring.

This is how I did the 2K2 Headlamps. Luckily everything worked out.

Aside from the appearance, is there anything else to the Q45 mirrors (tinting, etc.)?

As I saw the Glacier white Q45 roll by, it had the greenish tint on the mirrors.. I would love to see it on the Maxx.... If someone can go buy an infiniti dealer and take some Pics... This would look great on a Maxx , if it fits !

That greenish-bluish color

I have a feeling those mirrors are heated and have to be wired into the car somehow. If they fit and have an independent switch for heating them, that would be

Our 91 max GXE's were, and my Y2K SE's are

My father's got a Y2K GXE himself, and they're heated too. It's activated when you push the rear window defog/frost button.

Jeff, you need to remember you are in the Minima forum.

All models have heated mirrors in the real Maxima 3rd gen forum.
