Get Rain-X. Apply thoroughly and get the original Nissan wiper blades. With that combination you won't need expensive stuff.
Seriously.

Yeap, the hate you at the track for rain-x but it is the $hit -- keep oem inserts (1 to 2 times a yr) fresh and your set. Spend $$$$$ on mods bother!

Re: Re: i would imagine...
I'm using the NAPA (made by Trico) Teflon Exact Fit replacement blades. In the rainy Pacific Northwest, quality wiper blades are very important. I would say these are the best I've ever tried and I've tried a lot of them.

Re: NOT a (stupid question)
I'm sure they are. Check out Tustin Nissan, Courtesyparts and that other OEM Car parts website (forgot the URL)

I use Bosch Micro-Edges to replace the wiper blades. They might be a tad on the expensive side but they are 50% of what the PIAA Silicone blades will run ya.

not sure why...
but my max glass seems to get filmy.. you can windex all you want, wont touch it.. if you put rainx over that, it will suck. Rainx makes a glass polish. If you hit the windshield with that, then rainx, you wont have that problem. that polish also removes the old rainx, so no build up.

I used Anco's with rain-x for a while, but the anco's are cheap and fall out of the brackets easily.
Then I switched to PIAA silicones blades and they work pretty well. For the price, might not be worth it, but I got tired of having to rain-x every few weeks or after one or two hard rains. The PIAAs work well after a good base coat is applied (dry wipe for several minutes). Right after you wash the car, you have to redo the base coat and it sucks because stuff will get trapped in the early coats and leave smear marks on your windshield. But once the base coat is applied, it works great.
Also, if you're a big carbon-fiber fan, they look cool in CF. Otherwise, just seeing the little PIAA label looks cool.

I just use OEM That's it no rain-x or nothin' They wear out, I replace 'em. If there's rain coming and I know in advance I just take a wet napkin and wipe the dirt off the blades. Boom. Solid.

When I use to use Rain-X, after a short period of time, it would make the wipers skip/hop badly, making me have to keep applying it very often. Anyone else experience this?
BTW, whenever I get a car, the 1st time I need new blades, I always switch to the Anco's. Might try the Bosch next...
