Danced with a CL-S
I was driving to work on Saturday. A CL-S cut right in front of me and when there was an open line, I sped up and got my place back. He noticed that I have the "intention" so we both drove pretty fast and he was following me tight.
When we got on the a two-line ramp (it was a 1.5 mile long ramp with a straigh uphill and then a downhill left to right turn S shape), we were at about 90 mph. Still, he was tagging along my tail. Then he high-beamed me. With only less than a quarter tank of gas and an upcoming uphill, this was a such good chance to let go. I floor it, but it only kicked to 4.5k. I loose the pedal and floor it again. This time the engine breathed harder and it boosted to 5.5k. Immediately pulled a 1.5 car length from him. Then I switched lane b/c of slower traffic and prepared for the first left. I entered it with 105 and I noticed that I am gaining distance from 1.5 to 2 car length. Then on the second turn, I was pulling away from him even further. When I got out of it, we have a total of 3 car length and I had to brake for slower traffic. probably he was racing me with a full tank or light-footed on the turns. From his license plate...I doubt it is a 6speed, but an early version of CL-s.
I was on the overpass from 880N to 80E.

Re: Danced with a CL-S
He flashed because he was done with pushing it hard with you. I guess you don't understand the meaning when to quit. He knows when not to push the car. The CL-S will out handle the Max in turns stock vs stock so it wasn't the handling problem.
