Anyone noticed this on a 2K2 auto?

I've been using Chevron so I may switch to Shell for a while to see if that helps.

Maximus1000, give it at least 4-5 fill-ups of Shell. It took me 4-5 weeks of topping it off with Shell to notice an improvement.

Hmm, I don't think the brand of gas should have that much effect on the rough idle and brake pulsing. My dad's Explorer does sometimes pulse its brakes at a stop, but more than anything it keeps wanting to go and the brakes make a groaning sound. This generally happens on a hill and I chalk it up to small brakes on a heavy vehicle though. The accelerator also vibrates like crazy when you accelerate...but brake pulsing is generally because of bad rotors. But yeah, what someone said earlier, try turning off your a/c, and see what happens.

I also noticed that there is a vibration transered from the engine thru the gas pedal at around 2800 rpm. Anything higher or lower and it disapears. Go figure
Hi, I have a 2002 SE auto and I have the same sort of vibration in my gas pedal between 1800-2000 RPM's. I was wondering if you've found out what the cause of the vibration is. Thanks

I'm not sure what it is, does the 6-speed do this?
I have experienced a slightly "lumpy" or uneven idle in my 2K2 6spd. I have asked the dealer about it on more than once occasion and have consistently been told that it is normal. I believe the idle quality has to do with the cam profile . . .
