Real part numbers for 2K GXE Vent/Trim

Using a copy of this entire thread and some pics I found around the net, I visited my firendly local Nissan dealer intent on getting myself a 2K GXE Vent/DIN Trim piece.

The parts guy used the "66590" number from the diagram but when he cross-referenced it with real part numbers he came up with 3 parts. The one for a 2K GXE was "68750-3Y110". He came up with the part number for the pocket as "68475-35F00".

I went ahead and ordered them even though the parts guy thought I was crazy since his little diagram on the computer didn't show any trim below the vents. (He was sure to mention the "pay now/no returns" policy...) Anyway, the parts came in earlier this week and they are the right ones. I could post pics but i dont have my digital camera right now... I'll reply soon with pics.

Hope this helps...

You are lucky(or smart)

I got 68750-3Y210 for 2001 GXE and it is not right. I did get pocket 68475-5L300 which also happens to have a nice door on it. Now I am out $70 for the part and have to spend another $90 on the right one.

out $70

If you can get the right part for $90 then YOU are the lucky one. I paid $125 + tax for JUST the vent part! I'd be curious what the same part is at your Nissan dealer... BTW, the pocket was $30 and didn't have a door on the front.

Some people had wanted to see the factory single din stereo trim that is attached to the vents so I took some pics on page 3. It is different than the other single din kits.

I also installed the SE lights on my car on page 2.

Let me know what you guys think...
Where did you get your audio done. I am in San Diego too!

sweet thanx. (special thanx to Cwally for finding about this stuff originally) I haven't ordered yet cuz I've been super lazy next week I will drop by the dealership to order it (my sunroof is getting repaired so would be cool to pick up the stuff at the same time have the sunroof fixed). how long did it take to arrive?
