is the Tranverse link recall for 2k1s also..?? i hear knocking on my front suspension when i go over bumps slowly...but on the highway i don't hear it....
i read somewhere that the knocking sound is a recall..but i never got anything in the mail fron nissan...

 

Yup, recieved the post card last week. Going to have that, and the hood rattle fixed at the same time.

 

when did you buy your car..??..i still haven't receive the recall post card...
is the hood rattle loud..??..how do you know if it rattles..?
i just checked the nissandriven.com site to see the recalls...i don't see my VIN # in the recalls section..but i do hear the knocking sound...

 

Bought it Sept.'01. You don't really hear the rattle, but you can see it at highway speeds, especially over 80.

 

What is that hood rattle, is that when the hood shakes at highway speeds, the edges kind rock back and forth. Always had that problem, thought that was normal.
