i took out the NISSAN sign and teh MAXIMA sign in the butt of my trunk right...BUt...
i find two small holes behind the nissan sign in the middle.
the holes lead straight towards my trunk. so to cover them up i just put black tape for now. anyoneelse have this problem?

If you have the 2 holes, thats the only way . What other option could there possibly be ? You can always put the emblem back on. Thats why I left that emblem on, and only removed the MAXIMA, and the SE .

I dont know if its possible but there could be a way to fill the holes from the inside, and then use touch up paint on the outside to cover ummmm hmmm like i dont know what you could use. Bondo from the inside???

I don't know if paint will stick to the silicon? But that could be a solution.

I was planning on removing mine this weekend...but first I am gonna put some silicone on a piece of carboard and let it dry and then see if i can paint it with my touch up paint.....if the paint does adhere to the silicone, then i will take off the nissan emblem and put a piece of cardboard inside the trunk so I won't fill it with silicone

i'll let ya know how the experiment goes...and of course take pics

i don't know how big those holes are but i think someone mentioned jamming shaved down eraser heads into the holes left from removing the front license plate bracket. also, you might wanna ask around for those little plastic snap on thingies to cover up holes. they come in white plastic.

Pep Boys carries these sweet Type R badges that you could put there instead. They have them in yellow, red and blue. Just a suggestion....

I wouldn't do it unless I could do it right. That means having them bondo'd and having the trunk lid painted. I shaved mine but left the Emblem.

Thats what I said. If you're going to do a MOD, do it right. It will end up costing you more in the long run to cut corners..
