there are lots of quality alarms...

what makes an alarm 'extreme' or more secure than others would be the install. You need to find a good shop. Sensors are dime a dozen, knowing where to put them is the key. Some shops can even modify your hood latch mechanism and do extra things to stop them from getting in there. BUT unfortunately, like the HID bolts demonstrate, if they really have the time, they can do just as much damage whether they get in or not.

yeah, my worry is on the HID's, seeing as i live nearby that kid that got his stolen in astoria...i'm sending you money for your bolts this week and in the weekend, me and my dad are looking at what we can do to hide the hood latch/cable. perhaps mesh grill in the background. what yout hink of that...

Polargs are pretty bright, you could also go with Razo's, any of the Japanese company's make quality ones.

As for the alarm, I notice that you live in NY, I do too, I have a friend that I used to work with at a Stereo/alarm installation shop, he still does jobs on the side and can do just about anything that you want. He has done all the work on BMW regarding electrical stuff. He's very knowledgable, let me know if you wat his number. He can get the parts at a discount so that may save you some money.
