Wax / Polish Opinions

Hi all,

I am a new user to the site and everything looks good so far. I was looking for some input on the best wax to use on my 3 week old '04 Majestic Blue. I heard that Zymol was a great product and they have a specific type of wax for dark colors.

Has anyone used this Zymol product or can anyone suggest something better. Thanks for the input.

By the way, this is my 1st Nissan product and I couldn't be happier, so far.

I used Zymol on my Majestic Blue Maxima for about the first 8 months of ownership it is okay, but after I discovered Zaino I haven't looked back I would say go with zaino and don't waste your time on the zymol.

Zymol=too much work for such a short lasting shine.
ZAINO=The best polish!!!! It even beads 3M adhesive remover.

I've used that cheap Zymol on my car a couple times. It did a pretty bang up job for being cheap stuff. That's the only one i really use anymore.

You can get it at:
http://zainobros.com

Here's what their web site says about using a rotary buffer:

Q: Can I use an orbital polisher to apply/remove Zaino polish?

A: Yes, you can use an orbital to apply Zaino Z-2, Z-3, or Z-5. I don't recommend it because you waste too much polish that way. The pad on an eleven inch polisher can absorb almost enough polish to coat your entire vehicle. Each time you use an orbital to apply Zaino polish, you are probably wasting as much polish, if not more than you actually applied to the car.

Zaino polish applies easily by hand, especially if you dampen the aplicator pad with water and spritz it with Z-6 before applying it.

If you use an orbital to remove the residue, you should place a white, 100% cotton towel between the pad and the paint, and keep it turned and refolded often so that you are removing the residue with a clean section of towel all the time.

Note: A single orbital pad WILL NOT remove the polish residue from an entire vehicle. You will have smears if you don't use a towel and turn and refold it frequently.

The Zaino works great for me! I just wish the blasted rain would stop and I could finally put another coat on it. Haven't had a chance since installing the clear bra.

Thanks
At a minimum, you'll need Z-1, Z-2, Z-6 & Z-7. Note that when you order at zainobros.com, you have to print out the order form, fill it out by hand and mail it with a check.

I found Zaino online at http://www.ecklers.com but they charge an extra $1 per item.

They really need to get a better site, would be nice if they accepted credit cards online. I will probably order mine from ecklers, it is worth the extra couple of $$

Send an e-mail to tester@zainobros.com, U will get an auto response with link to zainobros.com store, with login and password.there U can order online with MC/Visa, all they request is feedback on the site which is under construction, but, they will send zaino products.

Good catch. It says that right on the top of their order form but in small print so I never noticed it.

While you are at it, get some S100 to go on top of the Zaino and watch the results.

I think the S100 on top of Z2 will give the car more dept with out taking away the shine that the Z2 gives you. Kind of simular to what the swirl mark remover(Z3 I believe?) does to the paint but more superior. That is what I have heard but I haven't tried it myself.

Glare???

I've been using Zaino for 3 years..love it..but have recently come across a new product, which I havent tried yet, but might use it on my 03 Supercrew for starters, called GLARE. Anyone tried it? I just started a thread about this stuff at General Discussion. Would like to hear more about Glare before slapping it on
