Anyone have a Pearl White Maxima?

in Canada, they have a colour called Satin white, and you can get a 3 coat pearl coating on it.

Anyone have pics of this?

2moaox2 - all Maximas come from the same assembly plant, and 'winter frost' is the only white Nissan shows for the Maxima in any documentation I can find.

It would not make sense to have another slight variation of an existing color just for Canada. This would require duplication of all documentation, pamphlets, booklets, websites, etc that show the Maxima colors.

The three coat pearl finish you say you can order is clearly a dealer-handled option either done by the dealer or by an independent contractor he uses.

I do like the pearlescent shade of white, and hope it replaces the 'winter frost' by the '06 edition.

really? they have it as an option on the nissan.ca site. It's called Satin White, then in the options menu, you can choose the 3-coat pearl.

Modifying documentaion, web sites etc. is really not a big stretch for any auto manufacturer. After all Canada bound cars have metric guage clusters, daytime running lights, a different price all of which necessitate modified documentation anyway.

The gauge cluster is pretty easy to swap out. The day time running lights are in our light clusters, they are either turned off somewhere in the computer, or there are no bulbs

A different color of paint just for canada seems odd

well, it seems like they have 2 different whites for Canada and US, or else it's just named differently.

The 04 white has some pearl to it in the sun although nothing like the 02/03's Glacier Pearl/Pikes Peak white 350z's both QX1 same color different names. It seems to be more like the Icelandic Pearl white on the 00/01's.

yeah, but what I'm asking in this thread is how it looks with the 3-coat pearl on it like it says on the nissan canada site.

I'm bett'in they're same color, just named differently... Notice a number of the colors other than white have a different name than Nissan's USA colors! I doubt very much that they're all truly a different color.

I don't think they can hear you. I saw it though. If you choose white as your exterior color you get another option to add 3 coat pearl for $285.00.

The escalade pearl is the nicest pearl white I've seen. Just sweet.
