Adding amps to a Bose system

Hi seen a lot of people here asking about how to add a sub to the Bose stereo without using hi-low speaker level converters.

Use the PAC adaptors. They convert the OEM balanced line level signal to an unbalanced RCA line level signal before the OEM Bose amp. The unit plugs right in between the factory head unit and the factory harness with it's own male/female harness. There is no cutting or splicing involved, just plug and play.

We are an authorized PAC dealer and ALWAYS keep these in stock. You could order them a most audio shops but they charge an arm and a leg for these. Or buy direct from us.

Regards,
Bryan

what if i want to use the hi/lo converter do i have to tap at the rear speakers after the amp or i can tap it anywhere before the amp? i had it behind the dash before and the amp was pounding my 12's but it didnt get deep.... so i asked a local shop and they said that the stock HU is weak thats why it needs stock amps to push the system. which means weak signal going to the hi.lo converter which sends signals to the amp... please let meknow if i have to by-pass the amp or not? thanks

Try checking the Audio/Video section...

I doubt you'll get too many easy replies bumping 4 year old threads.

^^^^What he said. Plus if you kick up the amps on a bose system you will blow the hell out of it. Sounds good for a while but then you will hear the snap crackle and pop of the true Bose..............no highs, no lows, must be bose
