My car is garaged now but for the 1st yr and a half it's been in an open carport...
I don't think it matters, it's just a crappy grill!!!

Any thoughts on Erebuni Aerodynamics , I've never heard of them.
I agree, the link does show a Sarona grill. Although limited body kits are availale for 6th gen Max, Lots of aftermarket car specialty stores carry them or act as the middle man for lowering kits. I however would go with a nice Trenz billet grill. If not, the dealer should cover if under warrenty.

I guess I'll have another stock one put on under warranty...
I NEED A GOOD AFTERMARKET GRILL DARN IT!!! NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE BUT THE BILLETS JUST AREN'T CUTTING IT FOR ME...
Activetuning where are you??? I looked around on-line to find a Sarona grill, but I can't seem to locate one, any leads would be appreciated...Andymax95, where did you get yours?

Since it was new and not sent to any middle men, I ordered it directly from Sarona. http://www.sarona.com/ I called them, did a money order and then they sent me the grille minus the emblem

Nissan has refused to address the paint issues on their vehicles. I have a 4th generation as well as the 6th generation, and the paint quality is average...

Thanks Chern but as you may or may not know, I stand firmly against billet grills, just don't like the way they look, no offense...but I think they belong on trucks. I will take it back again under warranty...

Andymax, thanks man, so did you end up a paying the list price of $225?
Ans I'm sure this is in the thread graveyard somewhere but how much did it cost to get painted???

Thanks all...

I did the same thing. Painted the teeth on my stock grill black, but did it myself. It didn't take long and cost about $30 worth of materials and a couple hours of my time. It looks good to me and hasn't chipped yet considering that I drive mostly on the interstates.

I see three options:

1 - Have the dealer replace it every time it begins peeling.

2 - Have the dealer replace this one, then replace the new one with your choice of aftermarket grill, storing the new one. You will then have either available when you sell.

3 - Sand and paint the current grill a solid color. I would choose silver for dark colored cars, black for light colored cars. Repaint as necessary.

Others probably have additional ideas.
I painted mine the color of my car

It must be a common problem. Because when I took my max to the dealer they said they would order the grill, No questions asked. They didn't even look at it. I was parked out front of the dealership. I think nissan is very aware. Also beware of the grills on ebay. Some of them have this issue and thats why they are on there for sale.
