Pinstripe on SE Onyx bodyline?

All,

I've seen two 2004 SE's (Onyx) for sale with what looks like is a pinstripe going down the length of the car (top of body line).

Was it a bad camera angle or do some SE's come with this "pin stripe".

I've only seen it on two cars so far.

Thanks in advance...

The pinstripe is probably a dealer option. I've seen a few on some lots when I was shopping around. I don't believe the pinstripe is a factory nissan option though.

If you like the pinstriping, you can either have it hand-painted on or have it put on with vinyl stripes. If your dealer can't or doesn't do that type of thing, you can go to your local vinyl decal shop and have it done.

Hey thanks! I think I like it without the stripe, I was just curious though.

Pinstripes are strictly a dealer add-on. I was looking at a silver '04 on my dealer's lot today that had black pinstripes. My wife liked them. I would have to look at them again before deciding whether I also liked them.

One has to be very careful adding stripes to a car that has almost no horizontal lines above the quarterpanel.

Mine has a thin black pin stripe that follows the body line above the door handles. You can see it here:

My dealer found the car I wanted, but it had a custom grill and pinstripes. I actually liked the grill, but I had them remove the pinstripes immediately. Luckily they came off with no problem.
