(PICS) I put emblem on the new grille!

I just put an emblem on the new grille that I installed few days ago.
bought the emblem for $20 from the dealer and used epoxy (1500 psi) to
put it on. there're very little contact surface between the grill and
the back of emblem, but the epoxy's holding it very good.

here's the pictures.(again, sorry about my dirty car...)

And you even got it on perfectly straight!

Has anyone ever noticed how many dealer's emblems are thrown on crooked? To me, sloppily attached dealer emblems are an indication of a sloppy dealer that does sloppy work.

I like this aftermarket grill, but without the emblem, there is sort of an 'empty/lost/blank' look about the front of the car. And I am no huge fan of the big Nissan hamburger.

But together, I think they look just right. In fact, I can easily see how many folks would prefer this to the look it left Smyrna with.

Nice work, VTmaximaVT . . . and I think I know why DvSMAXXX04 likes it, also.

yes, it is stock front emblem. I kinda wanted to try the rear emblem on
the front, but the dealer didn't have rear emblem in stock. so i just bought
the front emblem.

no, those are not chips on the front bumper, those are bugs from highway driving....i know...i need carwash....

Wow, the emblem makes all the difference. Car looks naked without it. Looks excellent.

That's funny. I have the same grille and did the same exact thing, except I used the logo from the rear of the car.

I actually drove around for about 2 weeks without the emblem, just letting my friends tell me what they thought. Then I put the emblem on and everyone liked it so much more.

Well im one of those rare ones that prefers no emblem. I showed your pics (with and without emblem) to at least 6 peeps and all (really!) felt it looked better without the emblem.... go figure. To me it just gives it a sleeker look without it. I too have ordered that grille from the same ebayer so, when i put it on my max, i may feel differently about the no emblem....But hey, either way it looks ALOT better than the ugly stock grille. I remember when we were shopping for a Max, the one of the 1st comments i said to my wife when we looked at the car in person was "that grille has to go" hehe. Yesterday i saw a Nissan (dont know the model) and it had the same looking grille! Oh great the flagship car of nissan also has the face of a minivan.... ouch!

I actually like the grill without the emblem when I saw it in pictures. I installed in on the car without the emblem and still liked it alot. However, it really made the front end look somewhat like a big mouth bass coming at you (the grill being the mouth). Anyway, I decided to stick the eblem on and take another look and I really liked it much better. Good luck with you decision, I think it's a nice grill either way although it hasn't gotten much praise by the maxima fans on this site. Everyone seems to like the Trendz grill's more, but I really don't care fo the Trendz at all.
