I'm looking at the 2005 Maxima for replacing my 1992. I have a problem with the headrests. I sit very upright in the seat and the head rest is right at the back of my head. This makes it impossible to drive with my head cranked forward. Does anyone know of an after market headrest that tilts like my 1992 one?

 

While it may not solve your fit issue, the headrest is adjustable. Might want to give it another try?

92 Max - Also keep in mind that the 6th gen Maxima headrests are not passive. In the event of a collision which sets of the front airbags, the computer controlling airbag deployment actually moves the headrests forward very quickly (in a tiny fraction of a second) to contact the back of your head, hopefully to prevent whiplash.

The 6th gen headrests are not the easiest to find a comfortable setting with, but, as maximame suggests, that should be your first approach.
