Where Is My Coin Tray??

I think most guys, including myself, just use one of the cup holders. They are great because you can take them out - to get to your change, or to clean them.
The other option is the dash door under the radio.

cup holder for me. very convienent that they come out too. I limit food in my car. No one but me can eat in it though ( i only eat non-messy food when alone) drinks are okay--must have lids! only b/c of the cup holders.

Well, I was on the phone last night with my mom and chinese take out flipped over and went everywhere. I was not a happy camper... In my old 325E that I had in college I turned too quick and bleach spilt all over the back floorboard since I was on my way back from doing laundry... Not a good thing.

Thundermaxi,
No food in my car!
Only bad things happen as you found out! When I bought my last car I found that the owner before me must have had a soda go all over because it was everywhere. It took me a whole day to clean it out. So now with a new car that risk is just not taken!

The ultimate coin case for a car is a photo film tube, the little plastic thing that you usually throw away after taking out the roll of film for your camera. They fit the coins perfectly, and stay nice and neat left in your armrest. Highly recommended, and CHEAP!

i use the cup holder closest to the radio, i never actually use them for anything but change, drinks and food are a major no no in the max
call me psycho but when i do go through the drive through, i dont order a drink, and i put the food in the trunk so the interior wont stink of french fries or whatever

Your not a psycho. That is true. With my last car when I got a craving for White Castle I would go through the drive through and it stunk the whole car up!
Only fast food I will bring home in my car is Taco Bell. They wrap each item well so it doesn't stink up everything!

Discount Auto Parts
I paid $4.99 for a coin holder that i put quarters, dimes, nickles in. I slide the whole thing under the radio compartment. Works Great. Plus I have sunpass for tolls.
The only thing is the front windsheild is tinted so now the sun pass doesnt work. "oh well Free toll for me"

Not specifically relating this to coins, but I have strongly felt from the time I test-drove my first '04 that there was a need for some place to lay things down temporarily, just to free up the hands to strap in and start the car, etc. I very carefully avoid placing ANYTHING on any finished surface, such as the woodgrain or the little shelf in front of the video screen.
The compartment under the radio holds nothing more than the cases for my CDs, because I found it to be a difficult shape to reach in or see in. The glove box doesn't hold a great deal more than the owners manual and the maintenance logs. Can't even get my flashlight in there. I do keep some change, the post ofice key, lip balm, etc, in the front cupholder, but I don't consider that to be an ideal place.
Worded another way, I found that, for me, there was less convenient storage in my '04 than in all my previous Maximas.

idnumber1,
Why do you need White Castle? You got IN N OUT!!!!
The GREATEST burgers in the free world! In fact the first stop I am going to make when I pull into Laughlin is going to be to get a double double. It just got finished when I was leaving last March and I can't wait to get one!
No drive up though! No food in the MAX!

For those in the southeast, the White Castle equivalent is Krystal. Their current motto is 'fresh, hot, small, square'. They could have added 'cheap'; You can get ten of them for $5. I throw on extra mustard, and convince myself they are a health food, since there is very little meat in them.
I have eaten (and greatly enjoyed) Krystal burgers since the early 1950s, and I still recall my disappointment when they raised the price to a dime.
Back on topic, my wife and I were in a Murano tonight, and the first things we both noticed were the two GIANT trays on top of the dash. Each one looked to be a foot from front to rear, and over a foot wide. We were most impressed with the storage accomodations in the Murano.
I hope Nissan finds some way to improve the 6th gen storage in the '06 revamp, but that may be asking too much . . .

Hey!
You know what I love is the center console, especially the pull out part that lets you put more stuff underneath and it's kinda of a hideaway thing!
I keep some things under there and it's so handy.
