My climate control has a problem since I first got the car, but Icant bear to let someone touch my car. If you have the temp setting on 60 or 61 degrees it blows cold. If it is 62 degrees or higher it blows full hot. ANY IDEAS?? I am very mechanically inclined.

 

Being a fellow owner of an Onyx 05' SE I am shocked. My climate control works fine. I too am mechanically inclined but I believe this is a dealer's responsibilty. It is a brand new car. Your climate control should be working. Take it to the dealer. I share your view on people touching my car, but these people's sole existence is to service Nissans.

 

Please dont make me go to the dealer!! ok ok fine, Ill schedule an appointment this week and let you know how it goes.

 

Don't fear the dealer!

Ignore the stereotypes of "stealership" and the like. Nissan dealers are our friends. Their mechanics are trained thoroughly in our Maximas. Let the pros do their job.
