You know, I didn't even check to see if an adapter was available for the steering wheel controls. There is a remote, but it is still packed away in the box. Because of the position of the screen and since I usually keep my right hand on the geer shift anyway, its pretty easy just to move one finger up to control the volume.

The round pad on the bottom right has just enough sensitivity for go through tracks while playing.

I kind of miss the steering wheel controls, but I think I can get used to it.

looks good. I just hate how it blocks the heat/ac etc controls. Question though....with this install did you lose all control of the factory radio and in dash 6? If so......I'll be keeping mine stock for a while.

Yes, you losse all of it.. the 1-6 Presets, CD Changer, AM/FM, Tape & Satellite Radio if you have it. That was a small issue for me because just in December I spent $500 to have my Sirius SAT Radio installed. Now I have to get the Kenwood Sirius tuner and get it connected if still want SAT radio.

Everything is all in one unit, I will post a picture of the stock Bose unit when I get home tonight.
