Thanx paladin --- thats what we got fedex, dhl, and ups for --- put enough people together I'll make a vacation out of it...lol

sorry bout that bro....Sure - you can come up...makes it easier for me... I would say to plan on being here for a couple hours if you want to do the mod directly --- or a chew n screw if you want us to do a swap out with one that is already prefabbed... I'll leave that up to you...

As far as price we haven't determined the final cost... because we're still working on the gauges... but I'll have it soon

This is for everyone --- the guages in addition to having a sh** load of LED's also has 2 LED screens that display your mileage/odometer and what gear your in -- it also has a light disperser that is orange, so we have made different dispersers and combined it with several different LED's... Then we tested this with the stock gauge face and also a white gauge face to ensure proper fitment, but most importantly that it was a blue that matched with everything else.....This morning we finally hit the winning combination, but this all = pain in the azz...so in short if you liked the dashes wait till you see the gauges complete... wheeeww

Hey badblack ---- I think your referring to just the pics posted tonight??? if it is then your looking at an indirect digital photgraph of a computer(i.e. the nav screen)...if you have a digital camera turn it on and point it to your computer monitor and you'll see what I mean... but here is a pic taken with a standard camera... you'll see the resolution is crystal clear

I thought ramberg's car was in the shop, but if you drive down to NY and you come up with a price, I'll think about it...

I haven't seen your gauges yet, but I have the reverse glow ones and I'm happy with them -- for now. If you want to swap the info screen and all the button clusters and do my doors and shifter, I can see a few hundred bucks make their way into your pocket.

I guess I can go up there this weekend and stop by the casino on the way down. I don't know if I'm doing anything this weekend already though, so I'll have to let you know when I double check.

Let me know if you're up to it...

My car will be ready sometime this week. I am not going this weekend anyway. I am going to wait till gec has everything done. If I feel the price is right than I will get it done. Most likely I would go there during the week.

Hey Vig --- I got no problems with doing whichever pieces you'd like.. Give me another week or so to finish testing everything. If your happy with the reverse glow thats cool...I would suggest though that we also change the speedo and gear screens out to blue so it matches the reverse gauges... I'll post you a pic with the reverse gauges with the blue speedo/drive screens so you can decide...

Hmmm... I might tag along, since I haven't been to RI yet (hey, why not, right? ). Hopefully he can put some prices together before then... and take a picture of the gauges

I'm probably out of town at the end of the month though... the wife's b-day and I think I'll take her somewhere for a few days. I'm good for this weekend, maybe next weekend... after that, it's mid-October at the earliest, which probably means I'd go on my own.

Thanks for the clarification. That looks really good. I think you have found yourself a new job!! I think the 6th Gen'ers will be keeping you busy as well as other folks asking you to do them "a favor" and hook up their ride.

P.S. Have you ever converted a 05 Pthfinder LE to blue LEDS??

Sounds good to me...We actually experimented doing patterns of red and blue --- so I think we could do something totally crazy for your ride......

Hahahhaha --- you guys are already making the arrangements --- Looking forward to it ---Everyone is welcome to come up/down whenever we get a date set whether your doing the mod or not...

Tell you what --- Vig hooked me up with that MB forum and I been doing some searching....seems the orange lights plague certain older model benz's too...I reached out to a friend who has the 350Z and he was estatic at the idea...We're going to do a complete breakdown of the Z this weekend and see what its all about --- I also already outlined the boards on my wifes brand new 05 altima and she'll be getting the upgrade very shortly..she just doesn't know it yet but to answer your question any car can be done --- we just have to look at how the oem boards were configured and we're all set.... Wanna be the first to have a pathfinder done??? ... I'm interested in accumalating different specs and conversions to broaden a potential market....PM me if you wanna work out some details on it

Is this a stang forum or a Maxima forum? FYI there are alot of Maxima's on this site no matter what gen. that you would be seeing their rears. Check out some of the treads in the other gens, dynos, 1/4 times.

Can you post a picture of your stang?

Enjoy the forum.

When I replaced mine with LEDs, I used 30x10mm (1.81") festoon bulbs from superbrightleds.com.

I don't know if anybody has LED tails on the 6th gen, but I could be wrong... I think somebody tried them but they weren't bright enough or something, I forget.

There was a big thread about those starfish-shaped ones too that fit the Altima but not the Max. I'm sure if you search for "LED taillights" you'll find something.

I'm a n00bie and the one thing I like about the newer max (and the new altima) is the recessed gauges. The 5th gens are so basic looking I would like some gauges in my 02 that look like the 6th gen max or new altima. They remind me of the gauges in the 3rd gen rx7's and last gen supra....Real Tight
