for the 6sp ecu guys, you will have to send it in like I did..

I can't help you guys on that one, thats what they told me. it will have to be mapped out like mines did, and programed like its a totaly different ecu.

sorry guys, but whoever does it GETS IT FREE!!! I would give them a call..

I dunno how much, but every time the car went near 13s it picked up 2hp all the way to 6hp to the wheels, so i hope they try to level it there..

I don't know this info till monday..

I should keep it na till I get all the n/a mods done...

lets see what I get after the pulley and the secret, then I'll go from there to the cattback/ y-pipe...

to get to the cams you will have to go though the spark plugs, so I'll change the plugs while I'm at it for the nos set up..

how that sound?

I dunno where I'm going to get them yet, I have the stillen site on bookmarks, but I'm sure they are cheaper elsewhere..

I dunno how much that will be for install, the dyno shop will do it for me, they have given me breaks on labor since my first time, so I'm sure they will work with me on that..

yes I bought my car..

they had mines for almost a month, but thats cause they send it to japan for mapping first.

that should be all set though, but I would make sure before anything. they should do it in no time now..

Agreed damn damn, I have the 4 speed as well(mt only 6th gen regret) I was going to test Tek's out here since they are only a few minutes from me, but I checked my ECU to make sure the numbers were different and they were...
I have my eyes out to buy a 4at ECU from a salvaged max, so if I find one, Ill be the gineau pig or if it doesn't take too long once all setup I'll just go down there and have it done,

The secret mod did not work, it was an intake spacer that did not fit our cars.

I would like an update on the ECU re-work and possible GD/pricing..

Each variation of Maxima's 4AT, 5AT, 6MT, w/ TCS, or VDC or w/o have different ECU programs. I'm using a G35 sedan ECU, since mine has TCS and Tek doesn't, it is on the way to JAPAN! G35 one isn't completely compatible so the CEL will be coming on after 50 miles.

The stock G35 ECU shows no difference in the lowend, but after 4300 rpm, my butt dyno can really feel the difference. I haven't had a chance to test it out yet. More to come tomorrow.

And the major difference between all the VQ35's outputs are in the butterfly position at full throttle

cont... Tadasi at TS said Nissan's programming adjust the timing to reduce torque steer under hard acceleration. Our ECU will be similar to their 350Z ECU, which means TORQUESTEER and similar output.
