Prjct:neo is the new version of an vafc.it was design for vtec and i-vtec. people buy them because it function like afc or safc2 where you can control 16 point of air fuel correction.
Chad: yeah you did **** off your money for a useless neo. no afc or safc2 has the capabilities of changing timing. only a standalone or a piggyback that is design for timing capabilities. normally people use the afc to change their fuel curve so that they can advance or retard their timing by using the fuel to control the timing. you cannot use it to control your timing straight up. most of the time people would log their run with a datalogger and play it back to see where the timing dips and they use the afc or safc2 to either add or take more fuel so that the timing would be right. in other word so your engine won't go BOOM .if you see a dip in your datalog that means you have a knock and like i said you have to either add or take more fuel.
You can however keep it and change your fuel curve either to add or take more fuel on you powerband, but be warn if the weather changes or the atitude changes your fuel curve would be totally different ;you have to know what you are doing if you want to mess around with engine management. make sure you seek profresional help if you want to do any of this.
