Sounds like the way to go...now I need to find a place that installs them.

If you find that thread on extending the OEM remote, that would be awsome.

I don't think you can because there has to be some sort of a bypass install and the problem is when you leave your car in the gear so shops don't want to install it because of the liability.

Anyway why don't you give these guys a call, maybe they have something we don't know about.

let me know if you get any more info on the remote start. I have 07 and getting tired of freezing also. I am debating also to get one just don't know if it will work with Intelligent Key.

The remote start will work with the intelligent key. It is wired to the power locks. I'm just debating on going just remote start with the factory "alarm" or get a full alarm system w/remote start. You can definitely do it though.

Its only one extra wire, that has nothing to do with door locks for remote start on intelligent keys.
