taillight replacement

-Does anyone know how to replace taillight bulbs on an 04? There are a couple of retainers that hold the corner cargo net that appear needful of removal to take off the interior panel covering--do these have to be taken off first? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks...

I can tell you about the cargo net clips but not the rest. Pull out the center of the retainer using a flat head of somthing to get underneath it, that should just pop out and then so should the other part as well after removing the center. Make sure when you put it all back together that you notice that the center is keyed and can only go in one way.

Hope this helps!!!!!!

Thanks, Chef.

Got the cargo net retainers out per your instructions. Now what to do? I see a couple of brass-colored bolts with nuts. I wonder if I remove them whether the whole light assembly will come out of the car... Nissan sure didn't make this easy to do.

There are 3 screws holding the tail-light in...I believe 2 on top and one on bottom or vice versa...once you take those out make sure to carefully wiggle the light out because if you do it quick then it'll slip out and scratch your bumper-I know from experience

good luck

Thanks, guys. Was able to R & R light assembly and replace bad bulb. The upper cargo retainer wouldn't stay in when replaced, so will need a new one of those, but otherwise, saved sum bux!
