Replacing the engine in my wifes Max. (Not by choice) Could not wait until summer so I bought a set of OBX headers. Have not seen hotshots or Cattman except for photos. But these OBX's are some damn nice headers for the money. I am impressed with the welds and the smoothness of the insides and the finish is like chrome. Some very heavy duty flanges. Not like what I am used to seeing on headers.
Just my .02

But, having the rear header pre-attached is both good and bad. Good, no flanges or gaskets to worry about. Bad in that it makes it harder to install.

yeah so I went down to Kooks and the quoted me for drag headers (I still dont know what the difference is??? lol) for about $2,450USD. That also included a Y-Pipe. Yeah there website didnt have anything cause they do only Muscles and like F-150's and stuff like that. But I decided not to even pursue this as I would be half way to a custom Turbo (Thanks for the help Chernmax).

Yes he is making headers. I talked to him personally. He will make headers after he gets Y pipe done.

Last time I spoke with him, he told me he should have the headers & y-pipe out within the next couple of months (nothing in this industry is "for sure" - only "very likely" & "hopefully").
He's fine-tuning the y-pipe for best fit & performance and knowing him, he'll have package deals available (headers/y-pipe/fastcat). Brian's a perfectionist when it comes to developing mods; it may seem to take forever, but when a product is released, you can rest assured it will fit perfectly and perform optimally for our MAXIMA's. -"Fit" also includes the correct placement of O2 sensors and designing the y-pipe with 2 flex sections for easier fitment.
He's focusing on 5AT's first and 6M's will follow after further fit-up testing and maybe minor tweaking.

The Cattman kit will probably exceed the price of the Hotshots but it should be worth it (SS, TIG welding, ideal location of O2 bungs, etc).
I can't wait either - my stock exhaust is holding me back!!
