Bump Stops

This is for all of you who have lowered the front of your cars at least 1.7 inches.

For me it made a big difference using shorter bump stops (over bumps).
Ride quality over bumps is improved quite a bit.

Now keep in mind my car is lowered in the front about 2 inches. I have Cattman Progress springs and I lowered the front a additional .3 inches by cutting the front springs (I know the unthinkable). My car sits perfectly level.

Fortunetly, Cattman provides bump stops with the Progress springs he sells.
You simply cut off the factory bump stops that are attached to the strut boot and slide the new one down the shaft. Re-install the boot over it and away ya go.

Again, you'll be pleasantly suprised by the difference.

Thanks for the tip. I installed Eibach springs and can instantly feel the difference in ride from stock. Not sure which I prefer on the highway, but the eibach handle better. Just my two sense.

Do you mine posting a pic of your vehicle, so that I could view the suspension drop. Below is a side shot pic of mine sitting on Intrax Springs @ 2.25 in the front and modified rear springs to drop the vehicle a little under 2 inches in the back. An it definitely drives great.

Are you kidding? With your bad azz ride just above it making mine look just plain bad?

I'm waiting for a few post between us to lessen the blow. I'll post a picture of mine sometime in the next 48 hours.

That grill is off the hook!

it's not my car but that grille appears to be a cadillac cts grille. I must say it looks good i hope you took the caddy emblem off, then it would rock 100 times more. Looks good.
