I'm back!!!! (Ipod Solution)
Greetings! The last time I posted was back in 2004 when I had a 2002 Maxima and gave into the temptation and traded for a Murano. Long story short, I'm back now with a 2007 Maxima SE SuperBlack and it feels good to be back!!! Thank you all for making this a great resource for everyone!
I'm looking for an Ipod integration solution. I have the non-bose single CD factory system and would like an adapter that would give me control of my Ipod via the factory radio, display text and still be able to use the steering wheel factory controls. I've already looked into several threads regarding this on the forum but can't seem to confirm if the factory solution offered by Nissan will work with my vehicle. I understand that the specs clearly state that the Bose 6 disc changer is required but I've seen other instances where similar solutions offered by Nissan actually work on no 6-disc changers. Can someone confirm this? Is there no solution available from Nissan for non Bose system Maxima owners?
Also, the following site claims that they have a factory solution from Nissan that allows you to connect your Ipod and control it via the factory radio/CD player. Can anyone confirm that this works for non-Bose systems? I've already emailed them but I haven't gotten a response.

I appreciate any assistance!

From what I've seen, you should either just invest in a new head unit - check Crutchfield, there's a nice Alpine for a couple hundo' - Or if you can do without the display, go spend $90 on a DLO Transpod - I have one in each of my cars, they always charge the pod and it's a 1 minute mod.
Good luck
